Gary Senser
I’ve been drawn to images and stories for as long as I can remember.
That journey began in Atlanta, where I worked as a staff photographer for the AJC’s Sunday Magazine while studying Marketing at Georgia State University.
The camera quickly became more than a tool — it became a way to observe the world more closely and find meaning in the moments most people pass by.
My career eventually took me into advertising, first in Los Angeles and later in New York, where I created and launched national consumer brands.
Those years taught me how powerful a single image can be — how composition, tone, and story can shift perception instantly.
I later co-founded an early digital marketing company, building online experiences for clients ranging from universities to global airlines.
Through every chapter, one thread remained constant: a fascination with making the usual feel unusual, revealing a spark of wonder in the familiar.
The South Bay coastline, California light, travel, and a lifelong curiosity about people and place inspire my photography and art.
I aim to create images that draw people in by elevating everyday scenes — the overlooked, the ordinary, the quiet — and transforming them into something worth pausing for.
If an image can make someone see the world a little differently, even for a moment, then it has done its job.
